Information for Traders
Are you looking for somewhere to sell your goods for Christmas?
This year we have chosen to run a one-day outdoor market in the grounds of Penrice Academy, so we can keep every body safe.
Trader pitches will be on tarmac hard-standing, measuring 3m x 3m each. There is a plentiful supply of on-site parking for traders and visitors. Visitor numbers will be controlled using a ticketing system, which will also allow us to comply with Trace and Trace regulations.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we can only guess at what the situation will be in late November, so all bookings are made in the full knowledge that the event will not be able to run in the traditional style.
If, for any reason, we are prevented from running this market, traders will be entitled to a refund of 80% of any fees paid, as we will have costs that we cannot recover if we are forced to cancel.
We estimate that we can only accommodate 45 traders, so priority will be given to those traders who have already booked for the event we had hoped to run indoors on the same weekend.

We store contact details so that we can make contact for the purposes of informing traders of future events, for communicating to traders who have booked a pitch at a forthcoming event, to inform the public about traders attending the market and for no other purpose. Details will be stored on a spreadsheet, including name, address, email address and birthday. Data will not be used for any other purpose, or supplied to any other organisation. Members can have access to the records to make sure we only have the stated information, and they have the right to have these details removed on request.
In the event of a breach of security, members will be informed within 72 hours of the discovery of the breach.
